Abstract.
There are usually two kinds of hypotheses in a research, research hypothesis and statistical hypothesis. Statistical hypothesis testing using sample data is usually expressed through a pair of statements H0 and H1. In many research reports research hypotheses are expressed in H1. But it is always possible to express research hypothesis in H0.
